JetFormBuilder — Dynamic Blocks Form Builder < 3.6.5.2 - Unauthenticated Arbitrary Shortcode Execution

  • Disclosed: 03.09.2026
  • Updated: 11.10.2026 10:22

The JetFormBuilder — Dynamic Blocks Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to 3.6.5.2. This is due to unsanitized request-supplied message content being passed through shortcode expansion before escaping was applied, and an incorrect escaping order in sanitize_wysiwyg() (wp_kses_post before wp_specialchars_decode) that allowed entity-encoded payloads to survive sanitization and be decoded in time for shortcode parsing. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes registered on the site by injecting shortcode syntax into form message content that is displayed on any page rendering a JetFormBuilder form.
