PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce <= 33.0.15 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection
The PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the PPOM_Meta::get_fields_by_id() function in all versions up to, and including, 33.0.15. This flaw is caused by insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and a lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query.
This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be leveraged to extract sensitive information from the database. Note that this issue is only exploitable when the "Enable Legacy Price Calculations" setting is enabled.
What to do
Update PPOM – Product Addons & Custom Fields for WooCommerce to version 33.0.16 or later.
