WP Photo Album Plus <= 9.3.03.002 – Nicht authentifiziertes gespeichertes Cross-Site Scripting über REQUEST_URI-Sitzungsverlauf
Das WordPress-Plugin WP Photo Album Plus ist in allen Versionen bis einschließlich 9.3.03.002 aufgrund unzureichender Eingabebereinigung und Ausgabe-Maskierung anfällig für gespeichertes Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) über den REQUEST_URI-Sitzungsverlauf. Dadurch können nicht authentifizierte Angreifer beliebige Web-Skripte in Seiten einschleusen, die ausgeführt werden, sobald ein Benutzer eine manipulierte Seite aufruft. Die Umgehung entsteht, da esc_url_raw() literale spitze Klammern entfernt, HTML-Entities jedoch beibehält, welche von wppaEntityDecode() wieder in aktive HTML-Tags umgewandelt werden, bevor sie mittels jQuery('#wppa-modal-container').html() gerendert werden.
